Eastbourne Soup

Suzi, the playwright for this Community play, Eastbourne Soup, has been volunteering at Our Neighbourhood’s Community Kitchen for the past year and a half. The play is set in a community kitchen in Eastbourne and based on her experiences there with our volunteer team.

It was a mixture of current Eastbourne and historic events, put together in a totally original way.

I had the experience of being interviewed by ITV news on stage, as part of the promotion. 30 seconds of fame!!

30 of Our Neighbourhood went to see the final performance. It was a fabulous show, we all had such fun there,  it had been such a great and unique thing to have played a part in.
